& Media Dave started writing in 1996 when he was asked to write an article by his good friend, writing guru, and owner of Coast Magazine, Steve Threndyle. Steve was looking for an adventurer traveling around the globe who had whacky stories of his adventures. Dave fit the bill and the rest is history. Dave's writing has been published in: Coast Magazine Dave currently has a weekly column in the Vancouver Metro which has a circulation of over 150,000 daily. He also writes a bi-monthly column in the North Shore News on his outdoor escapades. Dave has also been the topic in hundreds of articles about his personal career as a full time, professional athlete and the amazing places Dave explores.
